SkinnyFiber: Natural Ingredient 3# Chá de Bugre

Hello there,
Now is the third ingredient of SkinnyFiber > Chá de Bugre.

"Chá de Bugre is the Brazilian secret to weight management when combined with healthy diet and exercise because of it's ability to gently support your metabolism."

Chá de bugre is a powerful addition to your energy and weight loss brands! It is an all natural powerful stimulant which has been known to increase energy and alertness. Chá de bugre offers a clean, safe, natural energy unlike anything else on the market, without the negative side effects commonly associated with stimulants like caffeine or ephedra.

Chá de  bugre  is brewed in large drums at times of festival in Brazil and the people consume it to sustain their energy thru the night.  Chá de bugre is a very clean energy, the caffeine levels are surprisingly low, but the effects at a 500mg dose was the same as "2 Venti Starbucks." It is known to contain naturally occurring Caffeine, potassium, allantoin and allantoic acid.  Allantoin and allantoic acid may explain the traditional use for wound healing.  They are reported to help reduce body fat and preserve muscle tissue. The tea has been used traditionally to help relieve coughs, regulate renal function, reduce uric acid and externally to heal wounds.

Chá de bugre has been said to work as a great appetite suppressant making the body feel satisfied promoting much smaller meals, more frequently, which is what many practitioners believe is healthier for sustained weight loss and keeping the metabolism going throughout the day. (It provides a feeling of fullness after consuming the smallest amount of food.) It has been recommended as an excellent diuretic and weight loss aid in the words of Dr. C.L. Cruz, a leading Brazilian practitioner and herbalist. He also mentions it
being useful for a general heart tonic which can help stimulate circulation.

New studies are planned and underway, which brings us to a study that has been done by a Japanese University in 1990.  The study showed that Chá de bugre  leaf extract  reduced herpes virus dispersion by 99% when they used it to pre-treat cells.  A couple of years later, they showed a 33% reduction in the Herpes Virus with as little as 0.25 mcg/ml.  It also revealed a toxic activity against cancer cells utilizing the extract of Chá de bugre’s branches and leaves.

Nutraceuticals International has secured an exclusive contract with a manufacturer in Brazil to create Chá de bugre 10:1. This is not common leaf powder traded out of Brazil for use as tea and coffee fillers. Although some other companies are offering this low grade leaf powder  and selling it as "Chá de bugre".  This different species does not have the energy effects of  our exclusive extract.
